So what are the reasons of the LED light attenuation?
First, the LED light product problem
1.The LED light chip size is related to the light attenuation. The smaller size of the chip, the smaller the current capacity is and the faster the light attenuation is.
2.Product process defect
If the LED chip heat disspation is not good, which will make the LED temperature high and the the LED light attenuation aggravate.
Second, the use condition problem
1.LED drive is constant current drive. Some part is voltage drive. In the constant current, LED current will greatly accelerate the light attenuation for the working hours extension.
2、In the constant current mode, the drive current is greater than the rated current drive. This will increase the light attenuation.
Actually, there are lots of reasons to cause the light attenuation. The key problem is the heat disspation. In order to get the good heat disspation, many LED light manufacturer use copper stent to deal with the heat problem. Some LED light manufacturer wants to save cost and will use the aluminum stent for the heat problem. The disspation ability is obviouly less than the copper stent. The light attenuation is also related to the LED chip resistance, silver glue effect and so on.
